Our major role is overseeing the Building Regulations legislation, and we work with businesses, developers, architects, engineers, and members of the public to provide advice and guidance on achieving satisfactory standards for new buildings, alterations to existing buildings. 

We aim to give a fast, efficient and cost effective service to assist service users produce high quality buildings for people in the Borough of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
