Active promotion of the area, offering business development and support, and attempting to remove barriers to investment.
Statement on local service delivery - The Council is actively leading on a number of specific economic development regeneration schemes which are specifically geared towards creating employment opportunities and securing benefits for the wider community. These schemes are carried out in close partnership with other key agencies, particularly ONE NorthEast, Northumberland Strategic Partnership, and Northumberland County Council
