Rural development
The authority should have a published plan for the ongoing development of their rural communities. The plan should take account of the needs of the local community blanaced with conservation, economic regeneration and environmental considerations.
The Council works closely with a range of partners to secure the sustainable development of our rural communities. Key partners are Northumberland County Council, Northumberland Strategic Partnership, North Sunderland and Seahouses Development Trust, Glendale Gateway Development Trust and Berwick Community Development Trust
