| Buying a Grave Grave deeds for perpetuity can be pre-purchased in Council Cemeteries within the borough.
Staff will offer advice on arranging pre-purchased graves. There may be conditions attached to the purchase according to the type of grave(e.g. whether a memorial can be placed on the grave etc.)
A pre-purchase form has to be filled in. These are available at the council offices.
Whoever signs the paperwork will purchase the grave deed and therefore the grave will be in that persons name.
