Gypsy and traveller sites
The area has one privately owned site which provides permanent and transit pitches. The Authority will deal with unauthorised encampments on land owned by the authority and will advise landowners regarding unauthorised encampments on their private land. Any planning issues arising from unauthorised camping will be forwarded to the Planning Unit.
