When we carry out major works to your home we try to arrange them so you can remain in your home whilst the works are being carried out.
In the unlikely event that you have to leave your home temporarily, we will charge you the same rent you would have paid if you remained in your home.
We would arrange temporary accommodation having regard for your needs.
Arranging temporary accommodation does not happen very often. However, if you do not accept the temporary accommodation we offer you and it was suitable for your needs you will then have to make your own arrangements for alternative accommodation and the council will not pay for the cost of this.
