Council housing - tenancy issues
We deal with a wide range of issues relating to all aspects of a Council tenancy. As well as officers managing rent arrears and dealing with breaches of the tenancy agreement; housing officers can also help and advise on a number of other issues including:
- Moving homes
- Tenancy support
- Alterations/Improvements to Council property
- Adaptations for persons with disabilities
- Assignment of tenancy
- Tenancy succession i.e. the tenancy is passed on after the tenant dies
- Tenant participation – discussing issues with other tenants and council officers.
