Report
3.1
The council adopted an Annual Cycle of activities and events to ensure effective governance and management. The Annual Cycle has been reviewed and updated, particularly with regard to the timing of some activities, such as the review of the “Vision & Priorities” and staff appraisals. The revised document has been distributed throughout the council offices and is available on the Intranet.
3.2
Members are asked to agree the revised Annual Cycle.
3.3
The recent change in elected members has impacted on the composition of the Improvement Programme Board. It is proposed that representation on the Programme Board should be proportional, with each of the groups proposing members on the following basis:
Liberal Democrat – 3 members
Conservative - 2 members
Independent - 1 member

The Terms of Reference reflecting this change are attached. Members are asked to accept the revised Terms of Reference.
