Conversion of the Dragon Gallery to Medieval Gallery

Upon completion gallery success will be monitored as part of ongoing visitor survey & the visitors’ book.

Gallery to include Medieval items from the Burrell collection, objects from recent Berwick excavations, models and replicas. Oriental items to remain within the Dragon, other exhibits currently in the gallery (e.g. glass) to be relocated to 1st Burrell Gallery as appropriate.
Research, design and construction to be done in-house, with the exception of some electrical work on sockets and lighting.

5. Significant Risks to the Project
Major research is more-or-less complete, exhibits are identified and some materials already obtained, but lack of funding would curtain the plan and require major reconsideration.
Given funding the only risk to the completion of the project would be major illness of Museum Technician and/or Curator.
