Report

3.1

The service planning process has been modified to integrate both service and financial planning to ensure that all elements of the business are considered. The new format is designed to ensure that:

Current service performance and future targets information is documented

Financial information on the cost of providing the service is recognised

Equality and diversity challenges are considered

Links into corporate priorities are made

Factors influencing future service delivery are assessed

Cashable gains of 3% and efficiency gains of 10% are identified and the risks associated with those savings are recognised.

3.2

The draft service plans attached are presented for consideration in the newly adopted format. Proposals for growth are presented in Project Brief format within the Service Business Plan, to inform budget allocation for the next financial year.

3.3
