By train: Berwick-upon-Tweed is situated on the East Coast Main Line. Trains run regularly from Edinburgh and Newcastle. From the railway station walk down Castlegate, through the archway in the ramparts (Scotsgate) and turn left into Walkergate.

By road:
From the north, turn off the A1 at the Morrisons supermarket roundabout and follow the signposts to the town centre. Drive through the archway in the ramparts (Scotsgate) and turn left into Walkergate.

From the west: Take the A698 from Coldstream to Berwick. At the bypass roundabout, turn off at the second exit for and follow the signs Berwick. Once over the bridge across the River Tweed, turn left at the mini-roundabout and right at the next mini-roundabout into Walkergate.

From the south, turn off the A1 at the Scremerston roundabout and follow the signposts to Berwick town centre. Once over the bridge across the River Tweed, turn left at the mini-roundabout and right at the next mini-roundabout into Walkergate.

Wallace Green Pay and Display car park is situated at the end of Walkergate and is opposite Berwick Barracks.
