Trading illegally
The monitoring and regulation of all licences, permits and registrations issued by the Council’s licensing section is undertaken by that service in partnership with other agencies such as the police, trading standards, environmental health, fire, planning and building control. Dealing with reported instances of unlicensed street trading.
If you wish to report any illegal trading or activity contact the Council’s licensing section by using the on-line enquiry page; emailing licensing@berwick-upon-tweed.gov.uk; by telephone or letter; or by calling into the Council offices. The Council will not always be the most appropriate authority to deal with a report, but when it is not, it will always endeavour to redirect you to the most appropriate authority to deal with that particular matter .
