Licence - private hire operator's licence
Any person who wishes to accept or invite bookings for the provision of private hire vehicles requires a private hire operator's licence.
If you wish to accept or invite bookings for the provision of private hire vehicles you must first obtain the necessary licence. You will need to complete an application form; and complete a criminal record bureau (CRB) disclosure application form and produce documentary proof of your identity. An application form is available below and a CRB form may be sent to you by post.
