Grove School score at Berwick Rangers

A group of youngsters recently scored when they were taken on a special school visit to Berwick Rangers football ground. The trip was organised by Councillors Mike Elliot and Karen Thorburn and the children spent the whole afternoon at the ground.

During their trip the youngsters were able to see the players’ dressing rooms, try out the pitch for size and visit the boardroom.

Councillor Karen Thorburn said:

“It was great to be able to take the children to see Shielfield Park so they could find out all about the ground, how things work and what everything behind the scenes is like including the players dressing room and the boardroom. It was a memorable day for everyone and they really enjoyed their visit.”
