Berwick annual parking permits available in March

Parking permits for 2008/ 09 for Berwick will be available from mid March. These are valid for use in the Council’s off-street car parks and in certain other designated parking areas.

The pass for the year for one car will cost £95. For a further £15 a second registration number can be issued on a pass but it is only valid on one car at a time.

Permits can be purchased from the Council’s cash office, at Wallace Green either in person or over the phone using a credit/ debit card by calling 01289 330044 or 01289 301772.

Transport and Environmental Regulations Manager Gary McBride said:
“This year we have simplified the scheme so that one permit is available and a second car can be registered on the pass.

“Buying a permit represents excellent value for money as it works out at 40p per day from someone who works in the town,” he said.
