Love is in the air at the Valentine’s Ball

Love is in the air at this year’s Valentine’s Ball taking place on Saturday, 2 February.

The ball is in aid of the Mayoress of Berwick’s charity Chemo for Berwick and will take place at the Guild Hall, Berwick-upon-Tweed beginning at 7.30pm.

Music will be provided by Night Rhythms and DJ Dan and a two course buffet supper will be served.

Event organiser Councillor Hazel Bettison said:
“Everybody knows someone who has had treatment for cancer. Every penny raised from the ball will go towards Chemo for Berwick a local charity raising funds to help refurbish one of the wards at Berwick Infirmary so that treatment for cancer can be delivered locally. This will save patients having to take at least a 100 mile round trip to receive treatment, hopefully making their suffering a little more bearable.”
