Have your say on the new Community Plan for Berwick Borough

Berwick Borough Local Strategic Partnership is inviting its stakeholders and any interested members of the public to attend a meeting on Wednesday, 19 March 2008 to discuss the results of the recent consultation to refresh the Borough’s Community Plan.

Gillian Simmons, BBLSP manager, said: “We have started to look at the responses we’ve received so far as a result of the consultation, and there are some clear themes emerging, such as the need to include cross-border working as a priority within our Community Plan. We would like to present an overview of the consultation findings to our membership and the wider public, and have a discussion about how the new Community Plan could address these findings.”

The consultation ends on Friday, 14 March 2008, and copies of the consultation document can still be obtained from the BBLSP office by calling 01289 301864 or email: hbry@berwick-upon-tweed.gov.uk.

The Community Plan meeting will be held on Wednesday, 19 March 2008 in St Aidan’s Hall, Church Street, Berwick-upon-Tweed, from 10.15am, with refreshments on arrival.
