Sunday, 2 December will be an all day celebration of Christmas in Berwick when the Advent Fayre takes place on Bridge Street and the Christmas lights are switched on.
The fun begins in the morning from 11am (running until 4pm) when the Advent Fayre opens on Bridge Street. The whole area will be packed with stalls featuring local crafts, produce, baking, gifts, Christmas cards and decorations, jewellery, clothing and much more!
The specialist shops on Bridge Street are all open during the day, and there’s plenty of places to refresh and warm yourselves with hot food, mulled wine or coffee.
Throughout the day there will be entertainment including carol singing from local children’s choirs, Chris Wish working his magic, fairground fun on Bridge Street and Marygate, bellydancing and the Berwick Scrap Percussion Band.
In the afternoon the fun moves to Marygate, when the Christmas lights in Berwick will be switched on from the Guild Hall Steps at around 4pm. There will also be Santa in his grotto, music and much much more…
