Community Safety Officer Gerald Connor said:
“Domestic abuse is often a hidden crime. People may feel that they don’t have any help to escape the abuse when it is happening in their own home but this is not the case. There are organisations out there which can help, provide support and advice, helping victims to improve their situation. If you are worried that you may be a victim of domestic abuse, but don’t know what to do, then pop along to one of the roadshows and speak to someone who can help.”
