Over 2,500 local residents have been sent a survey asking for their views on Council services.
The questionnaire asks residents to rate everything from waste collection to customer services; it also asks people how they prefer to contact the Council.
Director of Environment at the Council, Rob Marriner is leading on improving customer services. He said:
“We have made a number of improvements in how we deliver services, for example introducing the Customer Services Charter, and we want to find out how local residents view the changes.
“We also want to find out how satisfied residents are with services and how the Council is performing overall,” he said.
The questionnaire is being sent out randomly to homes across the Borough by SMSR Ltd who are carrying out the survey on behalf of the Council. It is eight pages long and can be returned free of charge in the envelope provided. All returned surveys will be entered into a free £100 prize draw.
Anyone who has any questions about the survey can call SMSR’s free phone number 0800 1380845.
