Business in Berwick is expected to be booming as business owners can now access a new website - Northumberland Property Search - which enables them to search for premises in Northumberland.

The sophisticated site, which took 12 months to develop, is one of the first of its kind in the region.

Northumberland Property Search cuts the legwork for businesses seeking new premises, as local authorities and commercial agents detail their available premises across the county.

The free and easy to use website contains a wide range of office, retail and industrial properties in Northumberland. It is hoped that it will help encourage businesses to expand in the county.

Leader of Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Council, Isabel Hunter said:
“Business people are busy people. Northumberland Property Search, makes looking for premises easier because the website is available 24/ 7. As well as supporting local businesses and helping them expand, we’re hoping that the website will help attract new businesses in the county.”

Northumberland Property Search is a collaboration between Berwick-upon-Tweed, Blyth Valley, Castle Morpeth, Tynedale, Wansbeck and Northumberland County Councils.
