| Off-street coach parking in Coastal Areas operated by Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Council The Borough Council provides Pay and Display coach parking at our public car parks in Seahouses, Bamburgh and Holy Island (Green Lane).
There is a flat rate charge of £6.00 per day with tickets available at machines. This charge applies between 07.00 and 21.30 every day including Bank Holidays.
Enforcement issues:
Failure to display a valid ticket, waiting in a set-down bay or obstruction of the car park may result in the issue of an Excess Charge. This is £60, reduced to £30 if paid within 14 days.
On-street coach parking in Berwick-upon-Tweed provided by Northumberland County Council
For coach parties visiting Berwick-upon-Tweed, there is a pick-up/set-down point in Walkergate, less than 5 minutes walk from the main shopping area. There is no suitable long stay parking areas within the walled town centre.
Visiting coach drivers are requested not to obstruct access for service buses to the town centre bus stops – waiting is not permitted at these bus stops.
