In accordance with the provisions of the Act and Regulations described above, Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Council has published:

Emphasis and Momentum, A Core Strategy for the Borough of Berwick-upon-Tweed: Preferred Options.

Sustainability Appraisal Report.

The Strategy and Report are available for inspection at the following locations.

Council Offices, Wallace Green, Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

The County Libraries at:
Walkergate, Berwick-upon-Tweed
Between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm Monday & Tuesday
Between 9.00 am and 7.00 pm Wednesday & Friday
Between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm on Saturday

Main Street, Seahouses
Between 2.30 pm and 7.00 pm on Monday
Between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm on Wednesday
Between 2.30 pm and 7.00 pm on Friday

High Street, Wooler
Between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm; and 2.30 pm and 5.00 pm on Wednesday

The Strategy comprises an overarching spatial vision for the Borough of Berwick-upon-Tweed, the objectives to be met in realising the vision, the resulting spatial distribution of development, and a broad framework for its control.

Submission of comments are invited by 16th November 2007.
