Questions about the need for planning permission should be addressed to the Borough Planning Unit or you can use the links below to find out more. Officers will also discuss issues arising out of planning applications with neighbours of the proposals.
Policy matters relating to the future use of land and buildings, the conservation and protection of important buildings and spaces are also dealt with in the Planning Unit. There is a Local Plan for the Borough of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
